Our Prayers for Our Son

We pray that Trey would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and that he would believe in his heart that You have raised Christ from the dead. Cause Trey to call on Your name, Lord, and save him. (from Romans 10:9-13)

That Trey's love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so the he may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of rightousness that comes through Jesus Christ. (from Phillipians 1:9-11)

Let Trey grow as Jesus did, in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men. (from Luke 2:52)

Help us to train Trey in the way he should go so when he is old he will not turn from it. (from Proverbs 22:6)

Thank-you for loving Trey so much that You gave Your one and only Son that when Trey believes in Him he will not perish but have everlasting life. (from John 3:16)

Kangaroo

Trey loves to play "kangaroo". He wants for Mommy to carry him around everywhere! He will even nap while walking around Target or the grocery store in his sling and he loves to help Mommy water the garden! Thank God for the sling, it makes him feel so secure and can calm him down when nothing else works!

Baby Dedication

June 22nd was baby dedication Sunday at our church. It was a very special day for our family. Before Trey was even concieved we told God that if He gave us a son that we would give our son back to God. Baby dedication was a chance for us to let the whole church know what we had already done in our hearts! Lots of family were there. Grammy & Paw Paw, Aunt Janet and her family, Pa & Nana, Aunt Barbara Jean and Matthew, and Aunt Angel dedicated Cousin Damian also. Trey looked so sweet in his little white outfit

Father's Day

We had a wonderful first Father's Day! Trey wore his new suit to church so that he could be like Daddy.



After church we went over to Pa and Nana's house to go for a swim. Aunt Barbara Jean came to see Pa too...she loves her little nephew!

Cousin's Week

The first weekend in June was "Cousin's Week" at Grammy & Paw Paw's house. Cousins have to be at least 2 years old to come but Mommy & Trey visited for the weekend. Trey got to meet Uncle Steve & Aunt Angie and his cousins Steven & Wesley for the first time. All of his cousins love Trey but cousin Lillie seems to be especially enamored! Cousin Maddie is like a little mom!
