Our Prayers for Our Son

We pray that Trey would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and that he would believe in his heart that You have raised Christ from the dead. Cause Trey to call on Your name, Lord, and save him. (from Romans 10:9-13)

That Trey's love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so the he may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of rightousness that comes through Jesus Christ. (from Phillipians 1:9-11)

Let Trey grow as Jesus did, in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men. (from Luke 2:52)

Help us to train Trey in the way he should go so when he is old he will not turn from it. (from Proverbs 22:6)

Thank-you for loving Trey so much that You gave Your one and only Son that when Trey believes in Him he will not perish but have everlasting life. (from John 3:16)

Don't Get Mad Grammy & PaPa!!!

Trey went and got his first haircut today! We have been saying that we were going to do it for a while but kept getting talked out of it...his hair just started looking too stringy except for right after it was washed so Mommy and Daddy agreed that it was time...not to mention the fact that Trey got called a girl by an older man at church last night!!!

He did really well, this was the only grimace that I saw, he never cried!
He still has beautiful golden curls, it actually looks more curly now that it has dried!

2009 NC State Fair

We had a great family day on Monday at the NC State Fair! Trey got to see lots of animals and practice his animal sounds (although he saw some goats as we were driving earlier today and said, "daaawwwwg"). He rode a few rides and we ended the night with a ride on the ferris wheel. Bobby and I were both very pleased and somewhat shocked at how good Trey was about riding around in his stroller for hours...our little guy is growing up!

Hill Ridge Farms

We had a great time at Hill Ridge Farms this past Saturday. Trey and Daddy got to play on the swings and slide, run around the hay bale maze and really loved the "hay tunnel"! Picking out the perfect pumpkins is always fun...especially when we are thinking about eating the seeds after Halloween! We also took a hayride, Trey liked watching the tractor pull us around. And, we discovered that Trey LOVES kettle corn...believe me, he gets it honestly!
